About me
Hello. I’m Sarah Roocks. For as long as I can remember I’ve loved the process of creating art. My formal training began at Art College before I went on to study Textiles & Surface Design at University. Today I create original Wall Art bringing nature into commercial and domestic interiors.
I do that using a time-honoured printing method first used by 19th century naval architects and botanical artists. It’s a technique that blends leaf skeletons, grasses, flowers, feathers and shells onto fabrics such as Silk, Cotton and Linen.
It’s all spontaneous. All unique. All a celebration of natural beauty on natural fabric.
About you
You create perfect guest experiences. I help, by designing and creating unique works of art that contribute to the ambience of hotels, cruise ships, bars and restaurants.
Every piece is individual and lovingly crafted by hand. I can supply artwork on fabric alone or a fully mounted and framed wall hanging. Sizes and design can meet customer requirements and in most cases colours can be adapted to match interior schemes.
My designs can either be a soothing addition to your private suites, or a bold, conversational focal point in your reception areas.
I have completed many projects for commercial interiors and have sold my work independently through galleries. Today, I live and work in Lancashire, England and have a national client base. For a single piece or a unified collection, talk to me here.
